Kyla's creativity and love of design and colours has led her to a number of occupations including bridal wear designer & manufacturer, florist, children's wear designer and after studying set and costume design at WAAPA worked in various film and television art departments but for Kyla with over 15 years experience, it is face and body painting that is still THE best job in the world!

 

Her work has been published in many local and international books and magazines including Illusion, American Face Painter and Obscure.

 

Traveling interstate and overseas to compete in face and body painting competitions, Kyla has enjoyed the camaraderie that comes with such events and has won a number of awards over the years for costume, UV and face painting.

 

For the last seven years she has been running Limelight Company, a shop that sells make-up, SFX, face and body paints supplies and loves being surrounded by all things painty.
